Project Description

Cues (or C-Project) is an interactive exhibition developed by me and two teammates. On this project, I served as the sole technical developer. This project was developed with an Xbox 360 Kinect, C#, Unity, an NDI Bridge, and a 3D exhibit wall. My task was to learn the Windows Kinect SDK (from 2010) and apply that to my Unity knowledge. I developed this project from January 2025 to May 2025. I learned as I went and am extremely proud of the results. My end goal was to create an experience in which one player must direct the other to connect 2 touch points, triggering a responsive animation as a result of cooperative play. The code takes user input from the Kinect's depth sensor and bone reader and sends that to Unity and then to the NDI bridge. From there, Unity tracks the players location in regard to 2 touchpoints, and triggers the responsive interaction once the "win" state is met. This was an absolute delight to work on, please check out some of the assets and work below!
